Syracuse guard Judah Mintz, who recently broke the 1,000-point mark for the Orange and became one of the ACC's top scorers, will pursue the NBA Draft, the team confirmed Thursday evening on X.

The team retweeted a video Mintz published on the social media platform in which the sophomore player thanked the Syracuse fan base and alum for the support.

"The last two years have been an incredible ride, and I'm grateful to everyone in the program for welcoming me into the Syracuse family," Mintz said, adding that he was transitioning to the next phase of his career.

He was named to the All-ACC Second Team this season.

The announcement means J.J. Starling and Chris Bell are only starters still on the roster.

Starters Maliq Brown and Justin Taylor entered the portal. Sixth man Quadir Copeland and a pair of backup centers also entered the portal.
