The 2023 New York State Fair begins Wednesday with some new highlights including a dinosaur exhibit, the Asian Village and the Voice of the Farmer garden.

The voice of the farmer garden, located near the goat pavilion, is made up of raised beds exhibiting some of New York's cash crops. New York is the first state fair to have an exhibit of this kind, officials said.
The butter sculpture artists, Jim Victor and Marie Pelton, stand with this year's sculpture with the theme of highlighting the nutritional value of dairy products.
