As Syracuse hits the middle of their fall camp schedule, the return of running back LeQuint Allen has been most welcome for the SU offense.

After an eventful offseason, the rising star finished up his fourth day of practice Wednesday morning.

Allen did not answer questions related to his offseason suspension that was overturned in July, but he looked good through the portions of practice open to the media after putting in hard work on his own.

“Good to be back with a teammates, you know, seeing the guys fly around. I just came back with a helmet," Allen said. "Now, I'm back today with shoulder pads and stuff. So it's definitely good to be back, every day, you know, get better. You know, the past is in the past, you know. Every day you want to start from zero. So what are you going to do? So I want to every day, I'm start from zero, so just work up. You know, I'll never want to go down. Definitely. So every day just get better.”

“He's a hard worker, and he's definitely a guy that gets guys excited," QB Garrett Shrader said. "He makes a lot of plays. So it's been awesome to see that, have his energy and in the huddle and just on the field.”

“Hey, man, my boy LeQuint free," OL Enrique Cruz added. "It's just one of those things where it's just like, he's a really good, he's an amazing player. And that's just one of those things that we add to the offense, and just amazing having a player like that back.”
