Thursday marks the official start of Pride Month and tickets are now on sale for the Rochester Pride Parade and Festival happening next month. This year's event is sponsored by Trillium Health and ESL Federal Credit.

“Trillium Health is proud to partner with ESL Federal Credit Union to present the Rochester Parade and Festival for the second year in a row. Last year was the largest Pride in Rochester history, and as the leading LGBTQ+ healthcare provider in Rochester, Trillium Health is thrilled to sponsor the two largest events,” said Andrea DeMeo, president and CEO of Trillium Health. “We look forward to coming together for celebration to honor the LGBTQ+ community and promote visibility, acceptance, and equality for all.”

The Rochester Pride Parade and Festival is set to take place July 15 with the parade kicks off from Alexander and Park at 1 p.m. It will travel down Park Avenue and end at Brunswick Street. The festival will take place from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cobbs Hill Park. It will include food, drinks, games, activities, vendor tables, live music, and performances.

“The Rochester Pride Parade and Festival are shining examples in our community of what it means to come together to celebrate who we are as individuals,” said Faheem Masood, president and CEO, ESL Federal Credit Union. “To be an inclusive community, we must continue to recognize and celebrate that our diversity of personal lived experiences are what make us collectively stronger. ESL is honored to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community as premiere sponsor alongside our friends at Trillium Health and we look forward to another wonderful day of events.”
