It's a great way to find your dream home or check out the latest in design and decor in a new home. The annual Parade of Homes will feature seven brand new homes built by local builders in Central New York.

This year, the display opens up Thursday and runs through October 23.

Typically, the event is held in September but this year it was moved back by about a month due to some labor challenges. The builders are putting the finishing touches on these homes and the Parade of Homes will be open to the public beginning this Thursday.

As you walk through the seven homes on display you may get some new ideas for your own home or talk to an expert. Guests can see the newest floor plans, designs, and products in the residential housing industry.

Co-owner Jeremy Doran of Stone Hammer Homes says he has a two-story modern industrial design home on display. From floating staircases to loft ceilings, it's cool that you can find the newest and latest trends.

"We've got seven builders here who are putting their best foot forward on cutting edge architecture, cutting edge design. You're going to see some amazing furnishings and decor, you get a chance to see all this in one location," said Doran.

One of the most popular parts of the Parade of Homes is the themed nights. This year there will once again be Ladies Night, an SU Night, and a Corvette Night.

There will be food trucks on site beginning Thursday and several drawings and contests happening daily.

The hours are 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. every day of the festival. Advanced sale tickets are $12 which you can purchase through October 11. Tickets will be $15 if you wait to purchase them at the gate.
