A community meeting will be held this week to answer questions on a proposed traffic project along State Route 92 and 173 in the village of Manlius.

The public information meeting is set for July 27 from 5-7 p.m. at the Manlius Village Center. Drawings of the proposed improvements will be available for review by the public at the open house style meeting.

The New York State Department of Transportation says they will be available for questions on the planned milling and resurfacing of four inches of asphalt along approximately 1.2 miles of State Routes 92 and 173 at one of the village's busiest intersections.

NYSDOT says the project includes creating a permanent parking lane along E. Senaca Street, reaching as far as Franklin Street.

The project will also include improved sidewalks, updated signal systems and signage, as well as cleaned and adjusted drain structures.
