Syracuse police say they responded to shots fired with injuries calls near Clinton Square early Sunday morning.
Calls came in around 3:44 a.m., according to police, who responded to the 100 block of West Genesee Street. Police located several casings, indicating that there was a shooting at the scene. Police say two individuals arrived at Upstate Hospital by private transport with gunshot wounds from the incident at the same time.
Police say a 33-year-old male shot in the shoulder and a 25-year-old female shot in the midsection and leg are expected to survive.
