St. Sophia's Greek Cultural Festival will return to Onondaga County in person this year, following a two-year stint as a drive-thru only event. 

The festival will be held June 9-12 at St. Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church in DeWitt. 

Officials say visitors can anticipate a "full-fledged event" this year, featuring authentic food and desserts, as well as music and dance performances under an outdoor tent. 

New this year will be tours of the church's completed iconography project. 

“We are excited and eager to once again celebrate our Greek culture and heritage with our community,” said Parish Council President Peter Manolakos.

The event is free to attend.
