The Syracuse Crunch have officially clinched a playoff spot. If the regular season ended on Monday, they would be a two seed.

The team has been one of the hottest in the AHL, winning 10 straight home games. Whether or not they'll have home advantage all depends on where they land in the bracket.

"We're kind of lucky in a sense that, the number two seed is something we want, and it's not locked up," Chief Operating Officer Jim Sarosy said. "We can very much finish two, three or four right now. We want two in terms of that home-ice advantage. There is that to play for, so that's been the talk right now, how we do want to start here? We want game number one in this building."
