Voters inside the Rome City School district have voted in favor of nearly $22 million towards new renovations, and it comes with no tax impact.

Those renovations and repairs include all elementary schools, new turf at the Rome Free Academy baseball and softball fields and other infrastructure upgrades in the district.

The project is expected to start construction in spring 2024 with an expected completion date projected for fall 2026.
