The Syracuse Flag will be getting a makeover pretty soon and the city wants your help. A committee of residents and stakeholders will be involved in the redesigning process.

The current flag includes the city seal on a banner, but the committee is proposing the flag and seal be separate.

The goal of this flag redesign is to incorporate and represent the history, culture and community of Syracuse. The input process will be ongoing until May.

Then from May until August, the design process will take place, and from August to December the final selection of a design will occur.

If you'd like to give your input on the flag's new look, head to the city's website.
