This week's Mega Matchup was played out at Liverpool, where the atmosphere was electric for a meeting with Baldwinsville.

The Bees were coming onto the Warriors' home turf sitting at 2-0, while the 'Pool was 1-1.

The fans were packed in on both sides of the stadium, but on the home side, the student section was wearing neon colors for the occasion.

In the first quarter, the Warriors took the lead, but the Bees answered with two touchdowns to head into the half up 14-7.

In the third quarter, the Warriors were able to tie the game up thanks to some great running by Jahmir Boutwell, but once again, the Bees had an answer.

Baldwinsville put together a long drive that led to a Caden Cox touchdown and a 20-14 lead. In the fourth, Liverpool had a couple of chances to tie the game or even take the lead, but a couple of costly penalties brought them back.

With less than two minutes left, the "B'Ville" defense stood tall and came up with a huge sack to close the door.

"My hats off to our kids. They stayed the course, they executed the plan and they did what they needed to do to win. That's all you can ask from your football team," B'Ville coach Carl Sanfilippo said.

"It feels amazing. All the preparation, this week of practice, the boys were locked in. We executed and it turned out how we wanted," B'Ville quarterback Caden Cox said.

Next week, the Bees will take on C-NS, while Liverpool will square off with Nottingham.
