SUNY Oswego is asking all their students to get a COVID-19 vaccine as part of a new SUNY-wide mandate.
Students will have until September 6 to get their first dose, and five weeks to be fully vaccinated. This applies to any student who will be on campus for class or activities.
Those who don't get a vaccine will be unenrolled and will no longer have access to campus activities and services.
SUNY Oswego is providing the vaccine to their students on campus in the Swetman Gymnasium.
To receive a medicial or religious exemption, a student must complete the necessary paperwork and turn it into the university by this Friday.
