It's been two years since the Port City could host its biggest event. While the Harborfest was canceled for the second year since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, they're already getting a boost for next year. 

Mayor Billy Barlow announced that $30,000 will go towards supporting next year's event. The event is in a tough financial spot after canceling the past two years.

The 33rd annual event is scheduled to start on July 28, 2022.

Harborfest is one of the largest admission free music festivals in the Empire State.
