The 14-year-old male arrested and charged for the death of a 15-year-old male on Friday night in Syracuse has been identified as Sebastian Oliver, Onondaga District Attorney William Fitzpatrick confirmed Tuesday.
Oliver was charged with murder in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree in connection with the death of 15-year-old Radames Francisco, according to the DA.
At around 9:55 p.m. Friday, police said officers responded to the 400 block of Shonnard Street for a shots fired call. Upon arrival, they located Francisco, who was shot. The victim was transported to Upstate Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
