The Orange will open the 2020-21 conference season at Boston College on December 12, the first of 20 ACC games on the docket. Syracuse will play former Big East rivals B.C. and Pittsburgh twice this season, along with four other ACC schools: Clemson, Louisville, North Carolina, and N.C. State.
It's still unclear whether or not fans will be allowed inside the Carrier Dome for any games this season, but if they are, the Orange Empire will get to savor six Saturday conference home games, the biggest of which will be the North Carolina Tarheels on March 1.
Syracuse will play two "Big Monday" games this year, both of them on the road, beginning with a January 25 date at Virginia, followed by a road game at Cameron Indoor Stadium against the aforementioned Blue Devils on February 22. Seven additional games will be played on either a Tuesday or a Wednesday, four of which will be played at the Dome.
The ACC schedule brings the total of known games to 22 for the Orange this season, including the season opener at home against Bryant on November 27, and the ACC/Big 10 Challenge date at Rutgers on December 8. SU is expected to add a few more non-league games to the slate, highlighted by a home game with former Big East rival Georgetown sometime next month.
There was also news for Syracuse basketball fans Tuesday, with SU issuing a release stating it will not be offering ticket packages for this upcoming season due to ongoing concerns about the coronavirus pandemic.
For season ticket holders, that means you have to choose one of three options: You can rollover your season tickets to next season, request a full refund, or make it a donation to the Together Cuse Campaign for the Athletic Department.
Season ticket holders can expect a survey Wednesday.
If you don't fill it out, your tickets will be rolled over to next year. No decisions have been made for individual games yet.
