A developer decided to snag a piece of property off Syracuse's demolition list and salvage it for a tiny home.

The 620 square foot space in the Tipperary Hill neighborhood has many modern amenities, including a large shower and bedroom, deck, and a washer, and dryer.

Developers say tiny homes are continuing to draw more interest.

"They're not necessarily looking for large anymore, they're looking for does it look good, does it feel good, what's the conveniences, you know, this is all I need, I don't need that large room anymore," said developer Michael Harper.

Harper says the property is a rental, and his team is planning to flip more houses around town.
