One man is dead after a fight outside of a home in the town of Webb.

Police say they received calls of a home invasion on Dan-Bar Acres Road. Officers say Stephen Swanton was fighting with two men outside of his house. The argument apparently stemmed from an earlier incident at a party at another house down the road.

Police say sometime during this fight, Swanton allegedly pulled out a gun and shot both Scott Krempler and William Robertello.

Krempler was pronounced dead at the scene. Robertello was flown to Upstate University hospital and has since been released.

Swanton is facing murder and attempted murder charges.

New York State Police are taking over the investigation.
