Robert Neulander's trial has been pushed back to October according to Onondaga County District Attorney William Fitzpatrick.

The former DeWitt doctor’s new trial in the murder case of his wife was supposed to begin in June. Spectrum News was told the trial was delayed because one or more defense witnesses were unavailable then.

Neulander was recently granted a new trial because of juror misconduct.

There was a request to move his retrial out of Onondaga County but a judge denied that motion saying there wasn't evidence to show that Neulander couldn't be treated fairly and impartially.

His retrial is now set to begin October 13.
