Getting your body moving is a great way to start off the new year. Dozens of kids at the Syracuse Ninja Barracks can tell you it worked for them. They tried their best at being a ninja warrior during Wednesday's free play at the barracks.

Owner Ryan Scott opened the place after several years of training for "American Ninja Warrior." He started training on a bet between family members. Though he hasn't been on the show, Scott says training kids is a passion.

"I can't even express it. It's in my heart, it's in my soul. I do it for the kids," Scott said.

Scott said adults can come train at the gym as well.

Four sessions costs $68.
