Investigators have confirmed the bodies of two people found in a burned-out car on Tonawanda Street are the parents of the toddler found on a Buffalo porch back in September.
Attorney Robert Vario with the law firm of Ralph C. Lorigo in Buffalo confirmed that the remains found in the car belonged to Nicole Plaud and Miguel Valentin-Colon, the parents of 3-year-old Noelvin.
The couple’s families said the Buffalo Police Department confirmed the identities of the bodies to them in October, but their remains were not returned until this month.
Valentin-Colon was buried in Puerto Rico and Plaud was cremated in Orlando.
Noelvin was returned to his grandparents in Orlando while the investigation continues.
Officers are also still searching for a third adult, Dhamyl Roman-Audiffred, who was with the couple and Noelvin when they left Florida and traveled to Buffalo.
