Congressman Katko has opened up about the impeachment inquiry, saying there isn't sufficient evidence.

Last week the congressman issued a statement calling the inquiry a, "dramatic overstep" that started "without waiting for the facts." While he says transcripts with Ukrainian officials should be investigated, Katko believes more is needed for an impeachment inquiry.

"If you look at it, inquiries are the actual precursor to doing the impeachment, inquiries aren't usually done unless there is very strong or irrefutable evidence," said Katko.

The congressman says this inquiry takes away from other pressing issues.
