There are just 44 days until the start of the New York State Fair and advance sale tickets go on sale on Monday.

The one-day passes are available for $6. That's a $4 discount from what you'll pay at the gate.

But before you buy, remember there are lots of special admission days.

You have Opening Day and Labor Day, when admission is just $1.  Both Thursdays are also $3 admission.

Children 12 and under are admitted free every day of the State Fair and seniors 60 and over are free Monday, Aug. 26 through Wednesday, Aug. 28.

To get your tickets, you can go online, or one of a dozen different retailers.

You can also buy Midway wristband vouchers at several of those sites.
