The power is back on for most of upstate New York after storms did their fair share of damage when they rolled through the region Sunday afternoon and evening.

The storms prompted a tornado warning for Onondaga, Madison and Oneida counties. Right now there is no confirmation a tornado actually touched down in any of those locations.

In Syracuse, the strong winds left behind downed trees and power lines. Wolf Street was basically impassable because of all the debris in the road. Fortunately there were no reports of any injuries.

One photo captured a possible tornado at the New York State Fairgrounds in Geddes while the tornado warning was in effect. The National Weather Service determined it was not a tornado.

Power outages were reported in the area. Keep track of the latest from the National Grid.
