Syracuse University celebrated in a sea of orange as they sent off the class of 2019 — the largest graduating class to date.
The college held its 165th commencement Sunday, awarding degrees to more than 7,300 students. SU also awarded four honorable degrees.
Mary Daly, a 1994 alum, delivered the keynote address. She is the president and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.
Families and graduates say it is one of the best days of their lives.
"There couldn't be a better gift. It's very exciting, I wouldn't be anywhere else," said the mother of one Syracuse graduate, Ula Speliakos.
