Boldt Castle in Alexandria Bay is opening for the season Saturday and unveiling some new features.
The iconic historic site has 120 rooms and four floors resembling George Boldt's blueprints and style from the 1900s.
He built the castle for his wife Louise and stopped construction when she suddenly died.
The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority has invested more than $32 million over 42 years to restore the historic landmark.
The staff is excited for people to be amazed by the beauty and design.
"Our crew has been working very proactively in terms of high water management and we are able to accept visitors safely and securely onto Heart Island," said Jessica Phinney, the Boldt Castle curator and program coordinator. "We have several new features each year and that's why people enjoy coming back again and again."
Boldt Castle will premiere its new fountain on the channel side of the island, and visitors can also check out the completed restorations in Alster Tower.
The Boldt Facilites are known for hosting weddings, providing a space for more than 1,000 ceremonies.
They also weclomed more than 6 million visitors to the property.
