The Pulaski high school principal charged with aggravated DWI will be returning to work next week.

State Police say 42-year-old Michael Bateson was arrested with a BAC more than twice the legal limit. A spokesperson for the district tells us he'll be back in school Monday.

“As an educator, it is my responsibility to set a positive example for students at all times,” said Bateson in a statement. “I deeply regret and am ashamed of my personal failure that occurred outside of work. I would like students, staff, parents and my own family to know that my poor choices have consequences that I fully accept."
