24-year-old Kedesha Dunham was sentenced to five years of probation for criminally negligent homicide.

She was behind the wheel in the Town of Sennett in June of last year, when she crashed. Investigators say Dunham was trying to pass a concrete truck at the crest of a blind hill when she ended up slamming into a pickup truck

A 29-year-old and a two-year-old were killed in the crash, and Dunham's three-year-old son was left paralyzed. Dunham herself suffered a traumatic brain injury in the crash, and will require special assistance for the rest of her life.

She does not remember the day of the crash.

Her medical situation is part of the reason she was sentenced to probation instead of prison.
