Syracuse police release the identities of the two men killed in an Avery Avenue apartment earlier this week.

It happened on the 1100 block Monday night.

Officers say they found 39-year-old Jose Castro and 31-year-old Arturo Resto Figueroa dead at the scene.

Police believe they were shot, but the medical examiner is still determining the exact cause of death.
