The city Medical Examiner's officer is reportedly closing its investigation into the death of a 3-month-old boy at a Manhattan day care this past summer.

Karl Towndrow died on July 13 at an unlicensed day care center in SoHo.

The baby was put down for a nap and was later found unresponsive.

It was his first day at the facility.

DNA Info reports the city medical examiner says the cause and manner of his death cannot be determined.

The center's owner, Maryellen Strautmanis, was questioned by police but has not been charged with any crime.

She was also taking care of 14 other children at the time.
