Tickets for this year's New York State Fair go on sale Thursday morning.

On Tuesday, officials announced a new option for regular visitors, as well as admission and parking prices, for the 2023 fair. Tickets are $6 this year, with parking costing $10 for the Aug. 23-Sept. 4 fair. Admission is free for children 12 and younger, and people age 65 and older.

The fair has also added a $20 "Frequent Fairgoer" ticket for those who plan to attend at least four days of the fair. It's available exclusively online when tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Thursday.

"At $6 per ticket, admission to the New York State Fair remains the most affordable state fair in the nation," a state press release read.
