This weekend on In Focus, we’re talking about boating safely on New York’s waterways.

JoDee Kenney welcomed in Oswego Mayor Robert Corradino to discuss preparations for this year’s Harborfest. With an estimated 75,000 visitors expected to enjoy the food, area vendors, and free concerts between July 25 – 28, many arriving by boat, Corradino said it is the largest annual event for the city.  

Talking about the fireworks display, in particular, Corradino said state and local law enforcement vessels augment Oswego’s efforts to keep the harbor safe. Mayor Corradino also talked about Harborfest highlighting Oswego’s rich history and cultural contributions.
