It’s quiet now, as it has been for more than a year due to COVID-19 restrictions. But soon Enchanted Forest Water Safari should be bustling with visitors.
“We’re looking forward to doing what we do and welcoming guests back to have fun this summer,” said Water Safari Resort vice president and marketing director Katie Wojdyla.
Wojdyla checks in on how things are going around the park. Staff have been working on touching up the park and testing the rides.
Due to COVID-19, there are some rules to keep in mind. Be prepared to social distance, and note that face masks are required except for people who are fully vaccinated or those sitting with their traveling party. Masks are needed for dry rides, but are not allowed on water rides or in pools.
“Everybody’s got varying levels of comfort with COVID,” Wojdyla said. “And I think for the most part just be sure to have fun and be kind and patient when you visit the park, and you’ll have a great experience.”
If you’re wondering what the park will be offering this year, the answer is everything.
The dry rides will be operating, even the circus show will return, and you can check out three new water rides.
Opening day is June 18. It’s recommended to buy tickets online ahead of time but not required.
