Were you a subscriber to the Syracuse New Times?

It's been four months since the final issue was published but some subscribers still haven’t gotten their money back.

For decades, the weekly alternative was free. But earlier this year, the publisher said it wouldn’t survive without paid annual subscriptions.

The paper didn’t make it a whole year, instead, delivering about 10 issues to early subscribers before it folded.

Spectrum News reached out to the publisher to find out why some people still haven’t gotten refunds.

"We are paying back subscribers as we can afford to do so,” the publisher said.

Spectrum News is checking with the Attorney General’s office to find out your rights.
