Maui Health is accepting applications for its paid Summer Internship Program, which provides college students with an inside look at important non-clinical roles that support patient care.
The internship is for college students who want to learn more about the healthcare field and are looking to build a career in Maui. The paid internship provides opportunities in finance, information technology, social services, human resources, communications and marketing, and admitting. Interns work alongside experienced professionals, gaining practical skills and insights into how healthcare organizations operate.
The summer interns will work at Maui Memorial Medical Center in Wailuku, with some positions offering hybrid or remote work schedules.
Maui Health includes Maui Memorial Medical Center, which is the only acute care hospital on Maui, an outpatient clinic in Wailuku, a hospital and clinic in Kula, and the Lanai Community Hospital in Lanai City. In total, Maui Health employs 1,600 employees.
Program Details:
Internship Duration: May 12, 2025 - August 31, 2025 (start date flexible)
Compensation: $21/hr - $31/hr (based on position)
Work Location: Maui Memorial Medical Center
Eligibility Requirements:
Undergraduate Interns: Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree or have graduated from an accredited university within the last year. High school diploma or GED required.
Graduate Interns: Must be pursuing or have recently completed a graduate program from an accredited university within the last year. Bachelor’s degree required.
