The Utica City School District has unveiled a major upgrade to their athletic fields and facilities.

Voters approved a referendum to provide new athletic fields across the district.

In addition to a long-awaited fieldhouse at the Proctor High School football stadium, the district installed new turf, resurfaced the track and added a state-of-the-art scoreboard.

A new multi-purpose field was also installed directly behind the high school.

School officials said the upgrades are designed to bring their athletic fields to the 21st Century and provide the best for their students.
