Utica Police have made two arrests in connection with a homicide.
According to police, Martin Martinez, 30, of Utica was driving a vehicle on Howard Avenue Wednesday night when a shoot-out started between people inside and outside the vehicle.
Martinez was shot and later crashed into a telephone pole.
He was taken to a hospital, but died from his injuries.
Police believe at least three people were in Martinez's vehicle.
Two were arrested and identified Thursday as Charles Major, 20, and Damian Alvarado, 19, both of Utica.
They're both charged with reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon and firearm.
The investigation is ongoing.
Police say additional charges and arrests are likely.
