The man who kidnapped five women and held them captive in a bunker under his DeWitt home has been denied parole.
John Jamelske's case was brought before the New York State Parole Board last week.
The 85-year-old has served nearly 18 years in prison and is currently at the Clinton Correctional Facility.
This was the first time he's been eligible for parole.
According to the state Department of Corrections, Jamelske will be up for parole again in December 2022.
