The Mohawk Valley Health System will close its COVID-19 vaccination and testing locations due to low volumes, the organization announced Wednesday.

The vaccination pod, which is in the MVHS Burrstone House, and the COVID-19 testing trailer at the St. Luke's Campus, will be shut down.

COVID-19 testing will still be available for employees, MVHS said.

Alternate testing sites nearby include Rite Aid, Walgreens, Kinney Drugs and WellNow Urgent Care. Antigen self-test kits are also sold at most pharmacies.

Vaccination sites are also still available at Rite Aid, Walgreens, Kinney Drugs, Price Chopper, Hannaford, Upstate Family Health Center and through the Oneida, Herkimer and Madison county health departments.
