Wegmans announced that Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine booster doses are now available to eligible residents at all Wegmans Pharmacy locations.

Available by appointment only, those who reach eligibility requirements can receive a dose at least six months after their Pfizer-BioNTech primary series.

Wegmans says those eligible include anyone 65 years and older, residents in long-term care settings, those 50–64 years old with underlying medical conditions and residents 18-64 years old who are at increased risk for COVID exposure and transmission due to occupational or institutional setting, based on their individual benefits and risks.

Proof of qualifying condition is not required, but residents will be asked to self-attest to current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention eligibility at time of the appointment.

Wegmans says you must bring your COVID-19 vaccine card or proof of vaccination to your appointment if you have not received an initial two-dose series at Wegmans.
