The North Syracuse Central School District will continue with fully remote learning, Superintendent Daniel D. Bowles announced Saturday.

Students will return to the hybrid schedule on Tuesday, January 19.

The district had hoped to reopen with a hybrid model on Monday, January 4, but cited concerns over “recent positivity rates throughout the county and a significant increase of positive cases within our community and among our students and staff,” for the decision.

Students in CTE programs at BOCES can continue to go to BOCES next week.

The district says elementary students will continue to follow their specific remote learning schedules. Students in grades 5-12 will follow schedules developed by their teachers.
