BUFFALO, N.Y. — A record snowfall at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport is interrupting travel plans.
The National Weather Service announced 12.4 inches of snow fell at the airport as of 1 p.m. Saturday, breaking a 64-year-old record by nearly two inches.
We're expecting that new record to be even higher when the snowfall ends.
So if you've got plans to fly out of Buffalo, make sure to check in with your airline.
There has already been more than a dozen flight delays and cancelations since Saturday morning.
