The rest of tonight will be mainly dry and quiet. There is a small chance for a few pop up showers, but most will stay east of WNY. Dense but patchy valley fog will develop across the S. Tier. That will linger into early Tuesday morning.

Much of Tuesday will be sunny and nice. It will again be hot and humid with temperatures climbing into the 80s. Humidity will again be high leading to a very muggy afternoon. The muggy conditions could lead to a few showers and storms popping up during the afternoon. Showers however are more likely by late Tuesday as a frontal boundary moves through the area. Overnight lows will fall back down into the 60s.

Wednesday we will see a return to a more widespread chance. Showers and storms will move across the region, and some of that rain could linger on into early Thursday morning. In addition to being rainy, it will be windy! Inside of any developing storms strong winds will be the biggest threat.

Beyond Wednesday it will feel much nicer outside. That frontal passage Wednesday will clear out any humid air with high temperatures get trapped in the 70s. For the weekend a high pressure will move in keeping it mostly dry and sunny.
