The MTA's service for New Yorkers with disabilities will soon be available on your smartphone.

The agency is planning to create a mobile app for its Access-a-Ride users. And it's also looking to give riders more options by launching a pilot program to open requests to more 13,000 licensed yellow and green taxicabs.

Right now, you have to book a bus or van a day in advance to get the service.

Disabled advocates have been pushing the transit authority to improve its Access-a-Ride program, which has been a huge drain on money for the MTA.

The proposed app is one of several upgrades the agency committed to last month.
