For the second year in a row, bus commuters who ride out of the Port Authority Bus Terminal may see a change in their trip home.
Starting September 3, the Port Authority says a dozen New Jersey Transit routes will move to new departure gates for the evening commute.
Officials say the changes are meant to reduce customer crowding and improve bus flow.
Last September the Port Authority rearranged departure gates to separate NJ Transit and private operator gates.
For real-time updates on conditions at the bus terminal and at other Port Authority facilities, travelers can sign up for Port Authority alerts on its web site.
