After being closed for years, the pedestrian bridge over Sheridan Drive in the town of Tonawanda will be removed.
Crews will take two nights to remove the bridge, located between Delaware Road and Colvin Boulevard.
There will be lane restrictions starting after rush hour Wednesday afternoon, with the road closed between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning.
Detour signs will be posted to help drivers.
The work is expected to be finished Friday.
