A Warsaw man just released from prison is going back after allegedly attacking a woman with a wooden baseball bat.
Cory Goodenow, 23, was released on parole from Gowanda Correctional Facility late last month after being convicted of attempted rape in 2016, according to New York State Police.
He’s now accused of attacking a 19-year-old woman with a wooden baseball bat in her Silver Springs home on Friday.
Goodenow is facing charges of second-degree assault, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal obstruction of breathing, in addition to violating his parole.
