ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Greece Olympia High School was evacuated for a short time early this morning after an unknown smell was detected in the music hall area near the auditorium of the school.
The head of security at the district says the unknown odor caused some concern, so students and staff evacuated the building so the fire department could investigate.
The fire department found some sort of equipment battery failure that likely caused the odor.
The scene was cleared and everyone was able to go back inside the school about 15 minutes later.
