Several KeyBank branches in Buffalo closed their doors Friday afternoon.

It is part of the consolidation efforts since KeyBank acquired First Niagara Bank over the summer.

The locations that closed Friday include French Road in Cheektowaga, Spring Street in Jamestown, Transit Road in Lockport, Niagara Falls Boulevard in Niagara Falls, River Road in Tonawanda and Main Street in Batavia.

There is no word on how this will impact jobs. KeyBank had originally said that all branch employees would be offered comparable jobs after the acquisition.
