If you'd like to get dressed up and explore a museum, the Buffalo Museum of Science will let you do that this Saturday night at its fundraiser, Step Up for Science.

The event is for adults only and you’ll get to check out different science activities and enjoy science-infused signature cocktails and food. There will also be a silent disco and live music, and guests can enjoy rooftop views depending on the weather.

"Science is under the microscope right now," said Kathy Leacock, Buffalo Museum of Science interim president and CEO. "It is important for career development, for STEM careers specifically. Just the importance that it's not a scary thing, it's not old men in lab coats; anyone can be a scientist and we're here to spark that curiosity."

Tickets are $225 for an individual; however, if you live in the zip codes neighboring the museum, a ticket is $35. There are tickets for young professionals.

You can find out more on the museum's website.
